Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Tools In-Person

Are you interested in GIS and interactive maps, but aren't sure how GIS can be used in your own research? Come learn about our suite of GIS tools and discover how spatial analysis can bring a whole new dimension to your work.

This session will include a quick overview of the following GIS tools: ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Story Maps, ArcGIS Desktop, and Social Explorer. Workshop attendees will receive email invites to the Brandeis ArcGIS Online account and will receive access to free online courses for learning ArcGIS software.

Good for: Graduate students, upper-division undergrads, staff, faculty, postdocs; beginners-advanced; all disciplines
