Q&A Hybrid Teaching Panel Online
Are you teaching students attending class in-person and virtually at the same time? Bring your questions, bring your frustrations, and bring your success stories! This event is a question and answer session, with hybrid teaching and technology experts available to help find solutions. Join a community of faculty, graduate student instructors, and staff members willing to support, uplift, and learn from each other. TAs and other graduate students involved in teaching are welcome as well. The Q&A Panel will be held twice via Zoom, on 10/20 at 2:00pm and 10/29 at 12:00pm ET.
As long as there are at least two attendees, this session will be recorded and shared with those who register.

I'm the Associate Director of Learning Design at Brandeis, where I lead a team of learning designers and instructional technologists. We partner with faculty across the university to strengthen teaching, course design, and the use of technology in all learning modalities. My work focuses on improving learning through thoughtful design, feedback practices, and ethical integration of emerging tools like AI.

I support faculty and instructors across Brandeis in enhancing teaching and learning - in face-to-face, online, hybrid, synchronous, or asynchronous formats. My focus is on the intersection of pedagogy and digital tools, helping you think through how to design or redesign your course, assignments, or assessments in ways that support student learning.
Common areas I consult on include:
- Course and assignment design or redesign (in any modality)
- Integrating AI into teaching and course design
- Strategies for checking student understanding and supporting effective feedback loops
- Designing for academic integrity and inclusive learning
- Scaffolding student learning for deeper engagement
I work with faculty on both short-term consultations and longer-term projects that span multiple courses or terms. While faculty are my primary focus, I also welcome appointments with teaching assistants and staff involved in learning or training initiatives.
