Attention Brandeis Writers! The Writing Center is pleased to host the Spring 2020 Virtual Write-In on Friday, May 8th from 9am - 12pm EST and 1pm - 4pm EST. Participants are invited to attend one— or both!—  sessions. 

A Write-In is an event where writers come to work together in a shared space. If you still have some writing to finish for the semester, would like to jumpstart your summer projects, or you are feeling isolated writing on your own right now, this event is for you.

For each session, Writing Center Co-Directors will offer a short workshop on effective goal setting and guide participants in creating concrete writing goals, followed by a cameras- and mics-off session where you simply write with your goal in mind. Each session will wrap up with some suggestions and tips for effective self-editing and peer review.

A Writing Center staff member will also be available during the Write-In for any research- and writing-related questions.
