Agentic Humanities + Social Sciences Research Help In-Person

Are you a Humanities or Social Sciences scholar on campus who is interested in agentic work but needs some help? Meet with Natalie during these designated office hours to discuss options. These office hours are for students, faculty, and staff who want to speak with a Social Sciences scholar who is well-versed in Digital Scholarship approaches. Natalie is integrating agentic workflows into specific areas of her research and teaching and is happy to discuss her experiences and discoveries.

We can discuss:

  • Specific examples of how Natalie is using agentic workflows in her research and teaching
  • Learn more about AI and LLMs (Large Language Models) from someone who speaks your disciplinary language!
  • Key workflows and toolkits for your project -- if I use an agent, which one? Should I be paying for it? Should I be using Github? What even is Github?!
  • Challenges, dangers, and benefits for these tools -- is this ethical? How do I cite it? Where do I draw the line?
  • Learning resources available at BDI, as well as public resources BDI is familiar with

Gianna also offers regular Agentic Coding Office Hours, which are useful for individuals interested in creating a website or app with the help of an agent. Check out the workshop calendar!

If you're interested in these office hours but can't attend, feel free to email Natalie directly to make an appointment.
