GIS Help Drop-in Hours In-Person

Do you need help with geographic information systems (GIS)? Finding spatial data? Making maps? Want to learn more about the GIS services at Brandeis?

Stop by these drop-in hours! No appointment or registration is necessary. GIS Hub staff will be available to answer questions, discuss GIS workflows, and provide feedback on your GIS work.

The GIS Help Drop-in Hours meeting place is the Sotomayor Consultation Space (glass doors behind the research help desk in Goldfarb level 1). Cant make it in-person? Make an in-person or virtual appointment with the GIS Librarian. 

Support is available for ArcGIS Pro and Apps (ArcGIS Online, Map Viewer, StoryMaps, Survey123, Dashboards, etc.), QGIS, Google Maps, Google Earth, & more. If possible, please bring your own laptop.  

Registration emails

Registration for most of our workshops requires a brandeis.edu email address. If you don't have a brandeis.edu email address and are trying to register for a workshop which requires one, please email librarycalendar@brandeis.edu and we’d be happy to figure out an option for you.
