Graduate Student Pedagogy Workshop: Lesson Planning 101 In-Person

What is your role as a teacher? How do you plan your class? What do you want students to learn? In this session, we will discuss different teaching roles and how to set appropriate expectations for yourself and your students. We will explore strategies to help you set goals for each class session, ways to keep your class organized and on track, and how to keep your students engaged. You will learn and practice organizational and active learning strategies, and take away a helpful lesson planning template.
