Graduate Presentations and Job Talks Workshop In-Person / Online
This graduate workshop will focus on best practices and tips for presenting your research and writing at conferences, talks, seminars, and other venues. We will discuss how to adapt longer research, such as seminar papers and dissertation/thesis chapters, into shorter presentations that create engaging connections with different audiences, whether in-person or remotely. We will also spend time specifically on how best to prepare for and present your research at job talks. This workshop is intended for graduate students at any stage of their program, and most recommended for graduate students who will be presenting at conferences or going on the job market soon.
