Library Book Talk Series - A Conversation with Joel Gershenfeld In-Person

The library is excited to announce the Book Talk Series, an opportunity for Brandeis authors to showcase their recent book publications.

Our inaugural event will feature a moderated conversation with Joel Cutcher-Gershenfeld on his new co-authored book, The Consortia Century, published by Oxford University Press.

This book explores:

  • Aligning for Impact through multi-stakeholder collaboration
  • An original framework backed by theory to guide research, policy, and practice
  • Case studies spanning biomedicine, social work, labor relations, video games, science, higher education, and more
  • Broadly applicable principles that can be adapted to different fields and sectors

Participating in the talk (virtually) will be the founders and leaders of selected consortia -- accomplishing together what they can't do separately.

This event provides a platform for authors to engage with the community, share insights from their work, and discuss its impact.

We hope to see you there, Monday, March 24th, 3:30PM, in the Rapaporte Treasure Hall, or over Zoom (Click here for Zoom link)!

If you're interested in participating in a future book talk, please reach out to Matthew Sheehy, University Librarian. We aim to host these book talks multiple times each semester. We look forward to celebrating and amplifying the work of our faculty authors!

While the library cannot sell books, we will provide a link or QR code to a retailer for those interested in purchasing a copy.
