Designing a Digital Humanities/Social Sciences Course In-Person

This workshop is designed for graduate students and educators on campus who are interested in developing or refining a Digital Humanities/Social Sciences course. We will not limit the discussion to what digital resources are available via Brandeis, so this is a good professional development opportunity for anyone planning to teach digital-themed courses in some capacity.

We will discuss effective ways to integrate digital skills so that your students are learning about the course's Humanities/Social Sciences subject matter via particular tools and methodologies. I recommend bringing a draft syllabus of a course that you want to turn digital -- it can be yours, or one you intend to model from. Don't worry if there's no digital-themed projects or activities in the syllabus yet -- you'll learn how to integrate them!
