GIS Tools for Teaching In-Person

This workshop will introduce three web-based GIS applications that are easy to integrate into the project work for any course: Google's MyMaps platform, as well as ESRI's ArcGIS Online and StoryMaps. No software installation, no coding, and low barriers to entry — but with professional looking results.

Participants will see a demonstration of the capabilities of each platform, and will have the option to complete a hands-on practical exercise.
