Lunch Talk: BDI's High Performance Workstation in the Humanities and Social Sciences In-Person

Join us for a lunchtime workshop exploring how BDI's new High Performance Workstation can be used for projects based in the Humanities and Social Sciences. If you're interested in how this workhorse can foster conversations about humanity, this is the event for you! We’ll demystify the new High Performance Workstation, show how current Brandeis staff and faculty are using it, and share ways to accelerate your own research in areas like geospatial analysis, text analysis, digital archives, linguistic modeling, and visualization. Whether you’re working with large datasets, curious about AI-assisted research, or just want to see what’s possible beyond your laptop, this session will show you how to get started. Light lunch provided!

FYI this event is about the new High Performance Workstation housed in the Digital Scholarship Lab. This is a separate service, unrelated from Brandeis' High Performance Computing Cluster.
