Wizardry and Magic with StoryMaps

Wizardry and Magic with StoryMaps In-Person

ESRI’s ArcGIS StoryMaps is a popular web-based storytelling application with a spatial twist. The easy-to-use StoryMaps builder is a common choice for many class projects because of it's intuitive point-and-click interface that provides professional-looking results.

This workshop, Wizardry and Magic With StoryMaps will take StoryMaps users beyond the basics and (literally!) into another dimension. The GIS librarian will share tips and tricks for creating advanced visualizations, more engaging content, and dazzle attendees with StoryMaps magic.

This workshop is intended for intermediate-to-experienced StoryMaps users from any campus audience (undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff). Beginner StoryMaps users are advised to attend the March 26th workshop; "Getting Started with ArcGIS Online and StoryMaps" as a prerequisite. However, that prerequisite is only recommended - not required - and all are welcome to attend this workshop.
