SUMMARY:Intro to Sewing
DESCRIPTION:[IN PERSON] This intro to sewing will teach you how to operate
a sewing machine and learn how it works. \n\nWe will start with a
Powerpoint to look at the mechanism inside a sewing machine and some
general advice\, such as which fabrics and stitches to use. We then move
onto the hands on part\, where we do straight stitches\, learn to turn a
corner\, learn to move the fabric while stitching\, and learn how to stitch
two fabrics together.\n\nNo prior experience is necessary!\n\nThe training
takes place in person at the Brandeis MakerLab\, located above Starbucks in
