FYS Workshop Series: How to Argue in College Writing In-Person
This workshop is designed for undergraduate writers who want to learn how to build the essential argumentative framework for a successful paper. Participants will learn how to develop a focused and feasible research question and transform it into a precise, arguable thesis statement. Techniques for evaluating a thesis will also be discussed. Towards the end of the session, we will also cover strategies for refining your argument and creating a strong foundation for your writing.
