Intro to 3D Scanning using the RevoPoint In-Person

[IN PERSON] This hands-on session will introduce you to the basics of 3D Scanning, a process that creates detailed 3D models.

Whether you're studying architecture, archaeology, art, or any field where visual representation is key, this workshop will provide you with the skills to capture real-world objects and environments in stunning detail. You'll learn how to use a RevoPoint 3D scanner, and the software that accompanies it in order to create accurate 3D models that can be used for research, presentations, or creative projects.

No prior experience is necessary—just bring an object you would like to scan. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a solid foundation in using the RevoPoint and a new toolset to enhance your academic and creative work. This workshop is open to students, faculty, and staff.
