Graduate Workshop on Teaching Writing in the Sciences In-Person

Do you want grading to be easier? Would you like your undergraduates to write better? This workshop will help grant your wish.

While there are important differences in how writers in different disciplines communicate their ideas, these differences are not always evident to undergraduates in your section. Find out how writing in the sciences differs in terms of style, organization, and the use of sources and evidence and learn ways to communicate these differences effectively to students in your course.
