Summer 2020 Community Write-in In-Person
Calling all Brandeis graduate students, faculty, and writers of all kinds! Break up your summer writing by joining other Brandeisians at a day-long celebration of writing! A Write-In is an event where writers come to work together in a shared space. The Write-in consists of two sessions: 9am-12pm EST and 1pm-4pm EST. Participants are invited to attend one— or both!— sessions.
For each session, a Writing Center Co-Director will offer a mini-workshop on effective goal setting and guide participants in creating concrete writing goals, followed by a cameras- and mics-off time where you simply write with your goal in mind. Each session will wrap up with a discussion around overcoming the challenges of summer-time writing. A Writing Center staff member and Brandeis Librarian will also be available during the Write-In for any writing- and research- related questions.
Sign-up today to join the Writing Center in celebrating and supporting writers and scholarship across the disciplines by writing together from a distance!
The Zoom link will be the same for both sessions and will be sent out one day before the event begins.
