Introduction to Zotero Online
Are you typing citations and bibliographies by hand? Having trouble keeping all your references organized? Why not try Zotero? Zotero is a free citation management tool that helps you stay organized, quickly format citations, and generate bibliographies for your research.
This workshop assumes no prior knowledge of Zotero. We'll show you how to import citations from library databases and other sources, organize and edit items in your Zotero library, add in-text citations to a document, and build an automated bibliography in the citation style for your discipline.
Software Installation: Zotero is free software for Mac, Windows, or Linux. Please use the "Zotero Set Up Checklist" on Brandeis Library's Zotero Guide in order to download and install Zotero prior to the workshop.
Workshop Handout: You may also wish to download our Introduction to Zotero Workshop Handout.
This workshop will be held online via Zoom and will also be recorded. The Zoom link will be sent in your registration confirmation email and 2 hours before the workshop. A link to the recording will be emailed to all registrants following the event, including those on the waitlist and those who cancel their registrations.
