UWS Lens Essay Workshop
(Please note: this workshop will be held in hybrid format, with the possibility to attend in person or via a Zoom link that will be sent out to registrants before the workshop.)
This is the first installment of a series of workshops offered this term devoted to offering guidance for undergraduate students enrolled in a UWS course. Each workshop of the series will discuss the general principles of the three primary writing assignment prompts that students will encounter throughout the semester.
The lens essay presents special challenges that most undergraduate students are facing for the first time. This workshop has been designed to offer some helpful tools for planning your lens essay, guidelines for self-evaluation, and the opportunity to workshop excerpts from your drafts. No matter what stage you are at in the writing process, all UWS students are welcome and encouraged to bring their questions!
