SUMMARY:Intro to Vinyl Cutting & 2D Graphics
DESCRIPTION:[IN PERSON] This intro to vinyl cutting will start your journey 
 in 2D graphic design and digital fabrication. You will learn how to operate 
 our US Cutter Titan 3 vinyl cutter safely and effectively to make simple 2D 
 stickers / decals. We will use industry standard Vinyl Master 
 software.\n\nWe will start with a Powerpoint to look at some use cases\, 
 safety orientation\, and basic graphic design theory. Then we will move on 
 to the hands on part\, where we download or design a simple 2D graphic\, 
 cut it on the vinyl cutter\, and learn to weed (remove negative space) and 
 apply your decal.\n\nNo prior experience necessary. Basic familiarity with 
 a computer only.\n\nThe training takes place in person at the Brandeis 
 MakerLab\, located above Starbucks in the Library's Farber Building.
